Residential Stabilization

Restore offers a two week post detox Residential Stabilization for the primary purpose of monitoring and addressing prolonged symptoms related to what is referred to as Post Acute Withdrawal Symptoms or PAWS. The resulting symptomatology can include both physical and psychological aspects. The symptoms of PAWS can affect each individual differently depending on their DNA make up and their history of addiction. Symptoms associated with PAWS can manifest for weeks and even months after the cessation of drug and alcohol use. Restore strives to provide the best care in regards to detoxification, stabilizing and preparing patients for their next level of care in long term programs. A proper detoxification process should always include a period of residential stabilization in order to identify any PAWS symptoms and provide the appropriate treatment. Patients who take part in our stabilization service greatly increase their chances of success at their next level of care and achieving long term healing and sobriety.
